OUR RESOURCES



		Our Carers ALL of the staff at Bumble Bee Schoolhouse are QUALIFIED early childhood professionals, who have experience in caring for and educating young children. They are passionate and committed in providing a positive experience for the children. As a team, we work together to understand each and every child and family at Bumble Bee Schoolhouse. Our carers attend regular professional development trainings to help them keep up to date with innovations and new developments in the early childhood industry.
		Our Environment Our centre is a purpose built centre with the most modern design and equipment, such as the modular play equipment and computers (which will be used as part of the children’s programs). Our outdoor areas are an all-natural environment and play areas to enhance children’s play and development while encouraging exploration and experimentation. The centre is built with safety and comfort in mind while providing a bright friendly and homely feel.
		Our Parents and Guardians At Bumble Bee Schoolhouse, we hope parents and guardians will take our centre as a community centre, rather than just a child-minding centre. We encourage parents to get together to form social groups of their own. We believe such network is extremely beneficial outside childcare hours of operation. We value and appreciate all family input in all aspects of the centre to have a smooth transition from your child’s home life into the centre.
		Our Learning Partners Having understood the emotional pressures children can have going to school for the first time, our school readiness programs, that is part of our kinder programs, seek to ease children’s transition into formal school. We have very strong affiliations with the local schools. Because of these affiliations, we have the ability to use these school’s extensive resources, allowing us to provide enrichment programs to our children. In addition, we intend to invite music and/or drama programmers to our centre on a regular basis. We think such incursions provide a meaningful break from our normal routine and complementary inputs into our own programs. To further expose our children to the diversity of our world, we have an affiliation to a preschool in Singapore, Pre-school By-the-Park. Using information technology, our children will communicate with their buddies on a regular basis to discover more about each other’s world. Children who may be holidaying in Singapore could spend some time in this preschool if time permits.
