Who We Are
Just like you, we are parents and guardians who want the finest for the children in our care. Our children spend a great deal of time at child minding centres and kindergartens and we are here to make the best of these times.

Our Philosophy
At Bumble Bee Schoolhouse, we accept all children and families, irrespective of their race, religion, culture and socio-economic background. We value and promote fairness, respect, and tolerance to similarities and differences in all families that we have within the centre and our community.
We acknowledge that the early years of a child’s life offer a valuable opportunity to learn and develop life long skills. We recognise that each child is a unique individual with a desire to learn, and that all children learn at their own pace. We also believe that learning should be natural, rewarding and fun. Hence, we value constructive and engaging play experiences, that take into account the uniqueness and diversity of all children. By doing this, we believe that children can learn and develop as individuals.
We feel that children have the best opportunity to learn when they are provided with nutritionally balanced meals. We also believe that learning should not be limited to the room. Through partnerships within the centre, community and external resources, we deliver programs that are distinctive, and which impress upon the children the vastness of the world around us.
Our environment at Bumble Bee Schoolhouse is organised and developed to provide important opportunities for the children to be able to explore their surroundings and for the children to be nurtured as well as challenged. We value a clean and natural environment, as well as natural resources that are safe for children, yet still allows them to learn through risk taking, exploration and experimentation.
We believe that the quality of our service is largely dependent on the quality of its human resources. Bumble Bee Schoolhouse values professionals who have the right attitude and aptitude in addition to having the appropriate level of experience and academic qualifications. We provide our team with a safe, respectful workplace as well as having ample professional development to ensure that they can carry out their duties to the best of their ability.
At Bumble Bee Schoolhouse, we see ourselves as supporting families to achieve their ideal balance between work commitments and their children. We want to be an extension of the child’s family life and not a substitute.
